Tips to not give up on your goals and keep working towards them.
Here are a few things that will help you stay focused and stick to the right path in your journey towards your end goal -

Remeber what made you start doing that thing and where you wanted to go with it —
- Whenever you feel like quitting, just remember why you wanted to do this in the first place. What made you start working towards accomplishing this and why did you even make it as your end goal.
- I know at first it seems easy following a day to day schedule, but after weeks you start losing the motivation. And that motivation will keep falling down if you don’t realize why you are even trying.
- So always remember “why I started this and where do I want to end up”.
Never let other’s success put you off your own path —
- Some people become successful in their field at an age of 23 and some at the age of above 40.
- It’s not about reaching there the fastest but about reaching there eventually.
- Goals are meant to be fulfilled, not to be raced towards. I am not saying you should take years to get to your goals but just don’t feel bad if someone reaches them faster than you.
Always plan short term goals. This is also a very common advice —
- Instead of only focusing on the end goal, you should make smaller goals and work towards them on weekly basis. For example maybe your end goal to is get a better and higher paying job, so instead of just running after that, in the meantime you should learn new techniques and methods to better yourself day by day.
- Get certified, learn new things, practice new methodologies and then when the time comes, you will be ready to take the final step towards the ultimate goal of yours that you kept you eyes on from the start.
